Prayer Workshops and Education
Prayer Workshops
Learn new (and ancient) ways to pray - all grounded in Christian tradition and theology. These interactive learning experiences are available for individuals, families, and groups.
Prayer styles include:
Lectio Divina - A slow, deep, heart-centered reading of Scripture with a focus on God’s personal message to us.
Rose Window - Meditative drawing and coloring to help us listen to the Holy Spirit within our hearts.
Praying with clay - Meditative prayer designed to help us discover what lies deep in our hearts, and to place this before God.
Examen - A style of prayer developed by Ignatius of Loyola in which we consider the day’s blessings, God’s presence, and our response.
Spontaneous prayer - A simple model for unscripted prayer - for praying on your own and with others.
Meditative and Contemplative prayer for beginners - Cultivating deeper intimacy with God through awareness, silence, and receptivity.

What participants are saying…
“Thank you for sharing attitudes, styles, and other information on prayer and affirming there's no one "right way" to pray.”
“Come to God and pray as you are!! Good reminder in this busy, messy part of life with three young kids and working full time.”
“Giving "spontaneous" prayer a framework/guideline seems like an oxymoron but it works!!”
The structure was great! Straight forward & practical!
“Anna’s workshop on spontaneous prayer was excellent! It not only deepened my knowledge and understanding of this type of prayer, but also gave me a few opportunities to practice it with others before leaving the workshop. Anna’s gentle and patient guidance in the process helped me walk away feeling more confident praying with others on the spot. I also feel more deeply grounded in the Holy Spirit and less focused on getting my words to be “just right” when I pray in this way. I appreciate how simple yet practical this workshop was. It has truly made a difference in my prayer life!”
- Rebecca, spontaneous prayer workshop
Anna facilitated a prayerful, joyful environment that made me feel safe to express both creatively and emotionally. Guided by her clear, intentional explanation, I was surprised by how a simple task— drawing within a circle—could yield such profound spiritual reflections. For anyone seeking a comforting presence, deep spiritual inquiry, and thoughtful encouragement, I cannot recommend Anna’s compassionate work enough!
